Sharepoint Configuration Wizard Failed

Sometime it is possible that if you are installing Sharepoint Product & Technologies Configuration Wizard it failure on some step.Generally it is failure on step 7 and 8 .So your application is not working properly because configuration part is not successfully completed.

For above problem below solution is applicable.

Go To

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\BIN>

Run Command: psconfig  -cmd  -upgrade  -inplace  –b2b  –wait  -force

So this command start your moss 20007 Configuration wizard forcefully.

Could not Setup : Web Service Identity

Today I am facing this problem on reporting service configuration.I have found 2 3 solution from below error . But Finally aspnet_regiis -i command works for me .

Error :

ReportServicesConfigUI.WMIProvider.WMIProviderException: An unknown error has occurred in the WMI Provider. Error Code 80070003 at WMIProvider.RSReportServerAdmin.SetWebServiceIdentity(String applicationPool)

SharePoint Announcement List Scrolling using JavaScript

Here I had created Announcement Scrolling using JavaScript and Announcement List.So I have retrieve data from Announcement List using CAML Query using Standard Share-point list Object and then pass this value to JavaScript and Build HTML table.

finally start auto scrolling on Body On load Event ... that's it ...

Sometimes Site Locked What is Reason ?

Very Good Morning ,

Sometime it is possible that your site locked so you are not able to to Administrator function .Only you have read only permission in site ....

So What is reason behind this ?

If you are install Moss 2007 SP2 then Microsoft introduce new feature Site Locking ... So before your backup start , it lock site first and then do the backup , then unlock site again .
