Sometimes Site Locked What is Reason ?

Very Good Morning ,

Sometime it is possible that your site locked so you are not able to to Administrator function .Only you have read only permission in site ....

So What is reason behind this ?

If you are install Moss 2007 SP2 then Microsoft introduce new feature Site Locking ... So before your backup start , it lock site first and then do the backup , then unlock site again .

But sometime if problem in backup and then it remain in lock stage ( Read oNly Mode )

So Unlock Site Go To Central Administration --- > Application Management --- > Site Collection Quotas and Locks ---- > Select Site Collection ---> Select Not Locked Radio Button
